New Ford F-150: V6 Engine with V8 Power and Performance
The 2.7 liter EcoBoost engine in the 2015 Ford F-150 is more powerful than you think!
In recent release, Ford announced the new 2.7 liter EcoBoost engine in the 2015 Ford F-150 had “High-output… with standard Auto Start-Stop broadens engine lineup by providing mid-range V8-like towing capability of 8,500 pounds, payload of 2,250 pounds, 325 horsepower, 375 lb.-ft. of torque.” The high-output puts the new F-150 in competition with its larger competitors.
“In the truck business, it’s historically been about the most horsepower, the most towing power and the most torque,” Ford trucks marketing manager Doug Scott said.

Android Auto: Creating A Connected Kia Soul
How Smart do you want your car to be? Google believes that the world is ready for the Smart Car!
During the recent Google I/O Developers Conference, Google unveiled the Android Auto, a system that helps keep driver connected when they are behind the wheel.
The current UVO Infotainment system uses your smartphone to help keep you connected when you are in the car. It helps you to keep up with your vehicle’s maintenance, keep track of your vehicle with Parking Minder, get to where you are going with GPS Navigation, and enjoy the ride there with HD Radio and Digital Jukebox.
Android Auto has some similar features as UVO. However, the integration between the system and the phone are more seamless. Android Auto detects the phone and “mirrors” the phone’s apps, providing you with a type of hands-free connected experience. The goal is to provide the same quality and experience that you have come to love from your smartphone in your car.

2015 Mustang Saves Knees
Ford developed an innovative way to protect your passengers and their knees in the 2015 Ford Mustang — Active Glove Box Knee Airbag.
On June 19th, Ford announced the Active Glove Box Knee Airbag as a new feature in the Ford Mustang. The airbags are newly patented technology that is being introduced in the upcoming model and provide a cushion over the knees, in the event of a collision.

What’s New About the 2015 Ford F-150
A few weeks ago, Ford announced some big changes to the Ford F-150. The new aluminum body and ecoboost engine made the truck lighter and helped improve the fuel efficiency but there were other areas that were improved as well.
According to Torque News, there are 5 new features on the 2015 Ford F-150 that do more than sound impressive… they are impressive. These features are so impressive that Torque News believes that every truck should have them.
