The David Project – The biblical story of David reimagined and modernized in a new web-series.
Recently, (as in last year) I was cast in a phenomenal project from Screenland Entertainment. Like many other web-series out there, The David Project created an Indiegogo funding page to help with the cost of production. Unfortunately, the project did not receive the necessary funding.
This has not held back production. The team behind The David Project are dedicated to seeing this project through to completion. It is because of this, that we have completed the first three episodes and filming the fourth and fifth episodes.
Overview
Here is the blurb that gives a little more information about the project:
“We, the members of Screenland Entertainment Productions, are excited to invite you to join in our endeavor to bring one of the most compelling stories in the Bible to the screen. We’re giving the story of David a bold, contemporary urban spin, lacing it with original music and spoken word in homage to the Psalms of the Old Testament, while putting together a diverse cast and crew of talented individuals who love God and want to honor Him with our variety of gifts. Our goal is simple – to create a piece of art that will open another door to understanding God’s love (through his relationship with David) and inspire others to look deeper into God’s Word.”
